Hi! Just dropping by to share my new calendar templates I just created. Each year I focus on something I want to improve on. This year I wanted to tackle parent communication. I have always been good about keeping my parents informed, but this year I wanted to step it up a notch and really keep parents up to date on everything going on with their child. The reaction has been incredible. Parents are commenting to me how grateful they are to be so up to date on our classroom events.
After I sent out my updated Newsletters, I thought “wouldn’t it be nice to include calendar on the back of this so parents can hang it up on the fridge?” So then my calendars were born 🙂 Here is a peek at my newest set:
Now here is the best part…These include updates for life! What does that mean? Well, I’m going to be updating this file every year to include the next year. You will have this file updated for the next school year well before each summer. As of now it includes calendars for the rest of this school year and all the months for 2015-2016, even the summer months for year round schools.
All you have to do is enter your text and print. Below you can see a sample of my March calendar so you can see what it looks like when it’s complete 🙂
You can use them as:
*General calendars-to keep parents updated.
*Behavior calendars- Students can color their chart to document their behavior, or you can make notes on it for parents to see.
*Agendas- keep track of homework
*Reading Logs
*Intervention Logs- Document interventions tried with a child. Great for IEP meetings and parent conferences.
The possibilities are endless!
I have updated my Template Bundle to include these calendars. Purchase the bundle and you will basically get this set of calendars for free!
