I'm linking up with the Teaching Trio to share my three favorite things about summer.
1. No alarms! I usually wake up around 5:30 in order to make it on time to work. If I want to get there early, I need to get up at 4:45am. It's awful, so whenever I get a chance to wake up late, I take it!
2. New knowledge. It's no surprise that being a teacher I love to learn. I love to learn about everything, classroom management, techniques, strategies, classroom decor, everything! Summer time means that I can actually get into something without getting distracted or without feeling guilty about not getting school work done.
3. Time! What teacher couldn't use a few more hours in the day to get everything done? I love that I can get into a TpT project at any time of the day when inspiration hits! When else can I get up at 2am because I got an idea for a word wall? Or binge watch seasons on Netflix at one time? Or finally get together with your BFF because your schedules don't need to match up anymore? I don't have kids yet, but I imagine it must be wonderful to have that time to spend with my children. Having no time constraints is by far my favorite thing about summer :-)
