Monday Made It 6.20.16

Hello! It's Monday Made It Time!
Today I have a couple of things I worked on this week.  I do a lot of School/TpT work during the summer.  I've been trying to keep my TpT notes in order but no matter what I did, my notes ended up everywhere.  I decided to go back to basics and just use a composition book.  I chose a gridline one because I like to sketch my ideas and those grids help me draw those straight lines :-) I've been using it for a while and my notebook was starting to become a bit of a mess!  So I went ahead and made tabs to help keep it organized. This is what it looks like:
If you are starting up on Teachers Pay Teachers, I really suggest documenting your ideas any way you can.  This idea is super simple, but it works :-)

I'm thinking of making a similar one for all my professional development notes at school.  That way everything PD will be in one place.

Do you own a light box yet? I'm just crazy about mine! I can't stop playing with it! I made some more designs that I'm loving in my home office.
Fun light box designs for the home and the classroom!

I decided to keep this one at home and get a second one so I can take that it to my classroom! If you just picked up a light box for yourself, you can use my new freebie to display some fun designs :-)

  1. Love your idea of documenting your ideas in a Composition notebook. I also like that it's smaller than a 3-ring binder! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I LOVE the light box! I just realized today that it can be hung up- I didn't realize that! I need to figure out a better planner/idea system, because what I'm using just is not working for me. Thanks for sharing! :)

  4. I keep all my PD notes in one notebook because after years of putting stuff in random notebooks I got sick of having 36 notebooks with 2 pages of notes in them. Ha! I need to use your idea for TpT ASAP. My ideas are all over the place.. computer, phone, notebooks. You name it!!

  5. I'm on my third "trying-to-be-organized" idea for blogging and TpT products. Don't know if there's an idea way, but I like that you can easily take yours with you, as opposed to my 3-ring binder. And I love what you created for your lightbox!

  6. I love the idea of just putting tabs on a composition notebook to document ideas for TPT. I am trying to add a lot more to my TPT store this summer and this looks like a great way to keep my ideas organized! Thanks for sharing :)

    1. I keep this notebook by my bed because my best ideas happen either while I'm in bed, or in the shower. So I rush and write them down :-)

These light box designs are in the bundle. Make sure to redownload when you get a chance ;-)
