1. Listening: I'm listening to my dog snore. He's a pug and he can't help but snore, even when he's awake.
2. Loving: The cooler weather. It's been in the 100's for way too long! We are finally heading into the low 90's!
3. Thinking: We should move to California or Texas for better weather :)
4. Wanting: The iPhone 6, but I'm not sure about the size. I wanted a bigger screen than the 5, but the 6 kind of looks humongous.
5. Needing: To prep my Engage NY math lessons for next week. Talk about rigor!!
6. Trick or Treat:
a treat :) I'm putting three items on sale :)
Now link up with Farley for Currently!!
I am curious about what the engage NY lessons are all about. Rigor is the buzzword in my district right now--along with relevance and relationships. Our new lesson plans are grueling!! Ahh I could NOT handle that hot weather. It was in the 80s at the beginning of the school year + no ac = gross! Your tpt store looks adorable! I will definitely be checking out your sale items : )

We adopted a math program a few years ago and I'm not a fan. No real lessons, just a pretty book that is in color but has no substance. So when I found out about the Engage NY lessons I wanted to give them a try. I have to say I'm enjoying how much it covers and the level of understanding my kids are displaying. They are tough though and I'm not totally crazy about the assessments. Gotta love that it's totally free though :)
DeleteHa my dog is snoring next to me on the couch, too! She's a black lab. I love pugs; they have the cutest little faces.
ReplyDeleteListening to my dog is one of the most peaceful things! I used to think it was going to drive me crazy but now I go a little crazy when it's completely quiet :) I love labs!!
DeleteI'm wanting cooler weather...like 60s! It was 85 here in Iowa yesterday. Ugh. I want sweaters and scarves, darn it! I'll be complaining in January when it's freezing and we have 2 feet of snow on the ground... haha! I'll have to look at your store!

The 60's??? We consider that freezing in this part of the country LOL! We don't get any snow, not sure if I would like snow but I sure would love to see it falling!
DeleteI don't think moving to Cali would work for ya either, we are in the 100's this week ourselves!
ReplyDeleteWhat part of California? I'm so over this heat :(
DeleteWe are in the 90's in Texas this week. But there are some 80's in the forecast. We are looking forward to cooler temps, too.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya Amy! It's been awful! I can't wait to get into the 80's :)

ReplyDeleteYep, we are heading into the high 90's for the weekend. So much for our cool down :( I love my iPhone 5. That's why I'm having a hard time moving onto the 6 :)
DeleteI am loving this weather too! Hope it stick around for a while! I ordered my iPhone 6 and can't wait to get it!

Let me know what you think of the 6!
DeleteI feel so cold when I wake up now :) My kids are already bringing in winter jackets LOL!
You should totally get the bigger one. I went from the 5s from a ginormous HTC EVO and I miss the big screen like crazy. I'm always squinting at this tiny iPhone. And come to Texas, we'd love to have ya! ;)

*to the 5s.... it's been a long day!
DeleteI went from the Evo to the iPhone 5 and I did miss the width I used to have. I was hoping the 6 would be as big as an EVO because the screen size was perfect.
DeleteIf you stay with iPhone, I would go with the bigger one. That is one of the only reasons I switched to Samsung Galaxy because the iPhone was just too small. The bigger one looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteFound your blog through Currently! Would love for you to head over and check out my blog…there is a fall themed TREAT!
