While I was at my local store, I could not find the perfect bag for my team’s BTS gifts. Not only that, the bags I was considering were about $5 each! I decided to create some instead. I went to my local craft store and purchased a set of gift bags and designed some labels. Take a look at how they turned out:
Can you believe they ended up costing about 60 cents a piece? Much more budget friendly and my team loved them! After creating these, I realized they’d be great for student BTS gifts too! I resized them to fit a few smaller bag sizes.
Lunch Sacks
These lunch bags from Michaels are just so adorable! I love how these turned out and they are very inexpensive. They come in a variety of colors but these labels also fit regular lunch bags you can find anywhere. When I posted these on IG I had lots of questions regarding what will go in there. For now I’m thinking Cuties, (I gave my kids Cuties a few years ago and they loved them!) crayons, (my kids rarely have some at home) stickers, and other little trinkets.
Micro Bags
While I was searching at Michaels I found these tiny bags that would be perfect for teammates and kids! So cute!
When I shared these images on IG I had lots of questions about what I put inside. Here are the contents:
Here is how I set them up for my class:
I was asked if I let the kids open the bags and yes I did! I let them open them because there was a little granola bar in there that I knew they would need after recess. That first week back can be so hard for second grade tummies! I wasn’t sure what the reaction would be from my kids but they were so thrilled about them!
I am planning on adding more designs that can be used throughout the year. If you purchase and have any suggestions, feel free to email me! You will get the updates for FREE when I add to the file.
